My Story | The Part-Time Affiliate

My Story

Dave Sievers

Back In The Day

From the time I was first mesmerized seeing my big brother play alto sax, I began to dream about being a saxophone player.

From my high school days I played professionally, but after marriage and two beautiful daughters, I had to find a better way to provide for the family.

As fate would have it, I discovered computer programming and this turned out to be a life changing experience over the last 37 years taking me around the world to London, Scotland, Budapest, Poland, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Shanghai and India, where I lived for 2 years.

It has been an amazing experience working for major investment banks designing solutions to complex business problems using technology.

Here and Now

Having reached the top rung of the corporate ladder as a Managing Director of IT the time has come for my next transition.

After spending the better part of my life as a technology leader, the appreciation of how the digital revolution has changed the way we live resonates deeply within.

We search online, share our stories online, meet online, message online, date online, play music online, watch movies online,  bank online, invest online, LEARN online, EARN online, live online, be online...

So is there any wonder why I've chosen to become a Part-Time Affiliate?

Is there any reason why you aren't pursuing this amazing career too?

My Personal Vision

I believe in God.  I believe in myself.  I believe in my family. I believe in my friends and I believe in those who work with me. I believe that God will lend me everything I need with which to succeed if I do my best to earn it through faithful and honest service.

I believe in prayer and I will never close my eyes in sleep without praying for divine guidance to the end that I will be patient with other people and tolerant with those who do not believe as I do.  I believe that success is the result of intelligent effort and does not depend upon luck or sharp practices.

I believe we get out of life exactly what we put into it, therefore I will be careful to conduct myself toward others as I would want them to act toward me.  I will not slander those whom I do not like.  I will not slight my work no matter what I may see others doing.

I will render the best service of which I am capable because I have pledged myself to succeed in life and I know that success is always the result of conscientious and efficient effort.

I fully realize that no wealth or position can long endure unless built upon truth and justice, therefore I will engage in no transaction which does not benefit all whom it affects. I will succeed by attracting to me the forces I wish to use, and the co-operation of other people.

Finally, I will forgive those who offend me because I realize that I shall sometimes offend others and I will need their forgiveness.
